Paradis Luxury Yacht Charters – Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Paradis Luxury Yacht Charters services. By booking a yacht through our platform, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
1. Nature of Service
1.1. Paradis Luxury Yacht Charters acts solely as an intermediary, connecting clients with yacht owners and operators in various locations worldwide, including but not limited to Puerto Rico, Miami, Punta Cana, the British Virgin Islands (BVI), and Greece.
1.2. Paradis does not own or operate any yachts and is not responsible for the management, maintenance, or safety of any vessel.
1.3. All yacht charters are subject to the individual terms and conditions of the respective yacht owner or operator.
2. Booking & Payment
2.1. A deposit of [50]% of the total charter fee is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid [7] days before departure.
2.2. Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other approved methods.
2.3. Late payments may result in cancellation or additional fees.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
3.1. Cancellations by Client:
• More than 7 days before departure: Full refund (subject to operator policies).
• 3 to 6 days before departure: 50% refund (subject to operator policies).
• Less than 48 hours before departure: No refund.
3.2. Cancellations by Yacht Owners/Operators:
• If the charter provider cancels due to technical issues or operational reasons, an alternative yacht may be offered, or a full refund will be issued.
• In case of severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances, rescheduling options will be provided when possible.
3.3. Paradis is not liable for any cancellations, refunds, or disputes between the client and the yacht owner/operator.
4. Liability & Disclaimer
4.1. Paradis is not responsible for:
• The condition, safety, or operation of any yacht.
• Any accidents, injuries, damages, or losses incurred before, during, or after the charter.
• Any issues related to the captain, crew, or onboard services, as these are the responsibility of the yacht owner/operator.
4.2. Clients assume all risks associated with yacht charters, including but not limited to water activities, weather conditions, and travel disruptions.
5. Yacht Usage & Safety Rules
5.1. Bareboat Charters (Greece & Select Destinations): Clients must provide a valid boating license. If no license is available, a professional captain must be hired at an additional cost.
5.2. Skippered Charters: The captain has full authority over navigation and safety decisions. Guests must follow all crew instructions.
5.3. Maximum Capacity: Guests cannot exceed the yacht’s official passenger limit.
5.4. Illegal Activities: Drugs, firearms, and other illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
6. Additional Services & Charges
6.1. Extra services such as catering, jet skis, seabobs, and private chefs must be requested in advance and may have additional fees.
6.2. Docking fees at additional locations may apply and will be the responsibility of the client.
7. Force Majeure
Paradis is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to force majeure events such as extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
8.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Puerto Rico, United States.
8.3. Clients acknowledge that local laws and regulations may vary depending on the yacht’s location, and it is their responsibility to comply with all applicable legal requirements.
